The winter months bring cold winds and icy rainfall to the mother city, further adding to the challenge of our sellers who rely on working out in the elements to earn an income. 

To help alleviate the problem of working in the cold, wet outdoors, The Secret Love Project, a registered homeless charity based in Cape Town, decided to launch The Rain Suit Campaign in 2014. This campaign aimed to raise funds toward purchasing rain suits for the sellers who work around the clock on the streets of Cape Town selling their heart-shaped stickers. With the funds that were raised, The Secret Love Project had the privilege of distributing hundreds of rain suits to their sellers. A rain suit doesn’t just provide warmth, it's an important tool for sellers to sustain the elements in order to to sell their heart-shaped stickers, which enables them to stay productive during the colder winter months. Together with the Cape Town community and their partners, The Secret Love Project has continued to raise funds for their rain suit campaign. Over the last 5 years this project has become a part of Capetonians mission to spread love.
